Pool Savers Solar Ionizer Electrode.
It is a bar made of a special alloy composed of copper and other minerals. The ions released from the electrode are mainly what certain algaecides are made of; therefore, they fulfill this function and eliminate and inhibit the growth of algae, viruses, or bacteria when they come into contact with them. It also softens the water, helping with problems of scale generation and hardness.
The main recommendation is to clean or brush the electrode every 2 weeks (14 days) so that it can work with the expected efficiency.
This is the replacement for the Pool Savers Solar Ionizer. When its useful life expires, you must replace it. The main idea is that it wears out very slowly throughout the ionization process so that it can fulfill the function of the expected savings in your pool. Once it is completely consumed, you only need to replace it with a new one.
